I am Marco Vogels, founder of Circel. Four years ago, during my studies, while pursuing two master’s degrees in parallel, I took a side role at a business incubator that was just starting with Odoo. I led the implementation of their first environment and developed a disciplined, process-first way of translating complex operations into a single, coherent flow. That experience became the blueprint for Circel. 

Odoo combines startup energy with the reliability of a platform that improves every year. I began on version​ 13 and have followed the evolution to today’s releases; the trajectory has only strengthened my belief that simplification enables scale. Circel reflects that belief: we are an Official Odoo Partner​, we favour configuration first, extend only where it truly pays off, and build upgrade-friendly solutions that are clearly documented and easy to maintain.

Travel made this conviction unmistakable. From Bangladesh, Vietnam and Thailand to Spain, France, and even a billboard across from my parents’ house in the Netherlands, I kept encountering Odoo in the wild. When the same name meets you in so many places, you pay attention; I did, and chose to dedicate my work to doing Odoo right. 

Since 2025, Circel has been based at Strijp-S in E​indhoven. We are growing carefully while partnering up with incubators, start-ups and scale-ups across sectors. Our promise is simple: set direction first, deliver without detours, and kee​p your operations running as one continuous flow.
