What we collect through this website
Contact form and email. We receive your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message, and we use it to answer you and, where it leads somewhere, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Open applications. If you send us an application we process what you choose to send, in order to assess it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Website use. Our servers log your IP address, browser and the pages you request, for security and troubleshooting. With your consent we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You give or withhold that consent in the cookie banner and can change your mind at any time. The detail is in our cookie policy.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract, up to two years after the last contact
- Client records, for the duration of the contract and seven years afterwards, because Dutch tax law requires it
- Open applications, up to four weeks after we close the conversation, or up to one year with your permission
- Server logs, up to twelve months
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, or to hand it over in a portable form. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before.
Write to info@circel.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
When we work inside your Odoo
Everything above concerns data that reaches us through this website. When we implement, support or develop inside your own Odoo environment, we act as a processor on your instructions and you remain the controller.
That relationship is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which you will find on our terms page. It sets out in detail which sub-processors we use, where data is stored, the security measures we take, and how we support you with requests from the people whose data it is.
