QHow long does a migration take?
AIt is not a project with its own clock. The data for each process moves in the sprint that makes that process live, and the final load sits in the last sprint.
QIs there a risk of data loss?
AEvery record is validated with checksums and comparison reports, and we run a full trial migration on staging before production is touched.
QCan we keep the old system running during the switch?
AYes. We recommend a parallel period where both run side by side. It is the cheapest way to build confidence in the numbers.
QWhat if something goes wrong at go-live?
AEvery migration carries a rehearsed rollback, so the previous state can be restored. After that you are in the support lane, with the same queue and the same people.
